UnLEARN! Vanilla Marriage

Often caustic but always honest, UnLEARN! Vanilla Marriage examines the thought process that has been ingrained in most people for their entire lives when it comes to walking down the aisle. The problem is over half of all marriages end in divorce, and most of the remainder are miserable. One might say that offering a different perspective is not only in order, but necessary.

There are many contributing factors to the sorry state of contemporary traditional “Vanilla” marriage. The unrealistic expectations created by Walt Disney, Light FM, and “relationship experts” are just a few. This seminar confronts certain things that we were all taught to be truths that just don’t seem to be working very well, and offers perspectives that you won’t hear on daytime television.

Progressive Pre-Cana

If I only knew then what I know now”. Progressive Pre-Cana is designed to address groups of soon-to-be-married couples. You need not be Catholic to attend this version, just an open mind. People are taught to communicate in a marriage; however, the thing that is most important to communicate often goes undiscussed.

Many couples head into their big day not feeling comfortable discussing their sexuality, yet they are about to spend the rest of their lives with someone who they too embarrassed to share their wants, needs, and desires with. As a result, many couples eventually seek their expression elsewhere, whether it be sexual or emotional, because they don’t feel confident enough in their spouse to be honest about who they truly are, or how they truly feel. Show me a couple who can’t communicate about sex, and I’ll show you a couple who can’t communicate at all.

Monogamy & Monotony, A Swinger’s Perspective

Monogamy & Monotony, A Swinger’s Perspective offers thoughts about what is commonly referred to as “the Lifestyle”. For the veteran swinger, beginner, or even for the simply curious this seminar takes a look at many of the different dynamics involved with couples who explore negotiated non-monogamy….or as Woods likes to call them, Non-Mons.

Jealousy and possessiveness are sure signs of a failing relationship. Although often passed off as affection, left unattended these feelings will most certainly become a cancer. Love is never jealous love is always kind. Non-Mons have found a way to tame the savage beast.

The Religious Wrong

In an irreverent commentary, The Religious Wrong confronts organized religion’s war on sexuality and forces those in attendance to look in the mirror and face their faith. While told from an atheist’s perspective, it never encourages anyone to believe in, or not to believe in anything in particular, rather TRW insists that the listener examine why they believe what they say they do.

Regardless of the faith, sexual frustration seems to be a commonality that all devotions can agree on. If there really is an invisible omnipotent force of creation, does he really want the world to be so hard up?

Political Correctness and the Media:

The first amendment is under attack. The right to our freedom of speech is being taken away, not through legislation, but by political lobbies and special interest groups. Both Democrats and Republicans attempt to censor language that will further their agendas through the media. Liberals tend to want to censor language concerning race, Conservatives try to censor any language or images they don’t approve of concerning sex. As with all forms of political correctness, censorship comes at the expense of the truth.

The first amendment of the Constitution of the United States guarantees you the right to free speech, not the right to no be offended. Television and radio have many channels. If you don’t like the words coming from them, feel free to turn the dial.
